Hey again .. It's Miss Darth Maul time!

So I haven't posted in a very long time. Would you like to see what has taken up all my time?

This......
Sexy Darth Maul Lady

I have been doing a lot of sewing, sculpting and body make up investigation.
I even did some Light Saber practice with a juggling teacher!

This make up takes about 1.5 hours to put on and even longer to take off!

I cut and styled a wig I bought off ebay then sculpted the horns from sculpy and painted them.
I then sewed them into the wig. (that was the most annoying part)

Thrawn and Darth Maul!
The great thing about wearing an awesome costume is you get to meet other people wearing great costumes.

Miss Darth Maul vs Assassins Creed!

So a lot of my time has been taken up by costuming but also by moving house and relationships and changing jobs and all that stuff! I may post a bit about it later but soon I will be posting more costumes :)

Hope you are all good!

Costume, Cosplay, Consumer of time!!

Hey Everyone

I haven't really been updating this blog much for a few reasons.
One is that I have been really sick, in my mind and body. I have been struggling with my depression really badly but also I have now found out that I have sciatica and have been on an ongoing mission to stop the constant pain I have been experiencing.

Two is a bit more fun. Nearly all my spare time not spent at work or studying has been making costumes!
Ever since my first foray into costuming at a convention in June 2012 I have been obsessed with making costumes and wearing them places.

In Australia we don't get that many opportunities to wear costumes out as we don't have that many conventions due to having such a small and spread out population. So when it's time to go to a Con we all get really excited.

I have finished off a few costumes from Game of Thrones to Star Wars and plenty of stuff in between.

I have been publishing things about them on a blog just for costuming.

A lot of my costumes rely on make up (something which I think a lot of costumers overlook) so you should check it out.

I have done a few make up jobs for various peoples exciting projects and I will post these up here shortly.

I hope everyone is well!

Back for the Attack - Cyber Green

So I have returned!

After much time off with work stress, life stress, financial stress I feel like I finally have some time and energy to put back into blogging.

I had also been spending a fair amount of time doing crafts (which I had totally neglected) and also playing some games, both computer and table top war gaming.

A welcome back post would not be complete without some pictures!

Here is my newest tattoo, it's actually very new! only a week old! It is by far my fav and was drawn from scratch and tattooed by my friend Paul Abstruse who is a published comic book artist.
(this goes from practically my crotch to my knee on my left thigh it's HUGE)
Check out his work here!

So I changed my diet a fair bit, I have cut out all wheat and a lot of beans, corn, limited my dairy and rice intake and I have actually lost quite a bit of weight.

Instead of an xxl shirt from ThinkGeek I am an M! My corset that used to just fit now completely closed at the back! In addition to becoming more sexy I also feel less sick, have more energy and can think better.

Here are some pics of a cute green outfit I wore the other weekend.

Space Wolf and Cyber girl dress up

Just a quick update to add some fun photos!

Jelly, me, Jez and Blackett in the background.
This was at the super fun club Foundry which is within drunk stumbling distance from my house

Not last weekend but the one before we had a nerd themed house warming party.
Here is me dressed in my comfy space wolf costume with my pet snake Lilith :)
Wearing this grey wig always makes me want to dye my hair grey!

NOTD - Stamping Mani - Silver Fishnet - Konad M57

I have been wanting to try out more of my stamping plates but as my nails are massive I can't use some of the smaller more precision designs. One of which is the fishnet type design on the M57 plate. So I demanded my lovely friend Katie who had tiny hands should let me use her nails for experimentation.

Here is the lovely Spotted Stingray plush helping Katie model

A tiny bit messy but not bad for a first go.
